At LEMOINE, our pursuit of excellence starts with our Brand Promise: The Right People. Each quarter, we honor team members who live out this commitment through our Awards of Excellence. These awards recognize standout individuals across our Building Construction + Infrastructure and Response + Resiliency Divisions, as well as within our Corporate and Craft teams.

Nominated by their peers, this quarter’s honorees exemplify our Core Values in action. Below, we share some of the inspiring words submitted by those who work alongside them. Congratulations to all of this quarter’s recipients!

This person starts his workday sometime between 3:00 and 5:00 a.m. — I know because of the early-morning emails he sends checking in on the status of hot items. He comes in on weekends that aren’t even his to cover. When most people leave early after a nighttime concrete pour — or take it easy the following day — he puts in a full day both the day of the pour and the next. Some might think it’s the Monster Energy drinks, but he insists they have no effect on him.

This person embodies LEMOINE’s core values in everything he does, whether that’s helping trades on site, creating learning opportunities for those around him, or standing up for what’s right. He is fully committed to doing the right thing the right way, and that attitude is contagious to those he works with, serving as a true testament to his leadership both toward his team and alongside his peers. He not only sets a high bar for himself, but he also challenges and encourages others to continuously grow, both at work and at home. He fosters a culture of improvement and self-accountability that strengthens the character of his team and the teammates he works beside every day.

This person knows the contract documents better than anyone else on the project — including the design team. He consistently stays months ahead of the schedule, coordinating between scopes and identifying or bringing attention to any potential conflicts. He proactively initiates coordination meetings among the various trades and is always well prepared, often providing detailed exhibits when necessary to ensure clarity and alignment.

My nomination for the core value of Attention to Detail is for a young man who transitioned from our drywall division into the infrastructure group on this project in Rayville. He has done a great job bringing a positive attitude every day and consistently striving to do things the right way. He helps ensure the entire crew is ready, prepared, and set up for success each day. He does the right thing even when no one is looking, which in my eyes truly exemplifies both safety and attention to detail.

A peer described this person as patient, respectful, and committed to doing what is right, even when nobody is watching. Time and time again, they have stepped up beyond their job description, personally assisting homeowners in moments of need — not for recognition, but simply because it is the right thing to do. That willingness to serve without hesitation or expectation builds trust with homeowners and sets a strong standard for all of us.

This person leads by example, forming meaningful relationships naturally and bringing steadiness to every project and every interaction. They are also a coach and mentor, routinely supporting the field team, offering guidance, and driving momentum from one project to the next. Their leadership consistently improves project efficiency and boosts team morale. From a performance standpoint, their impact is extraordinary — when they joined us on the Restore Louisiana program, they managed roughly 5 to 10 reconstruction projects at a time, and over the past year that volume has grown to 25 to 30 projects simultaneously, with a peak near 50. From starting one project’s demolition in the morning to completing a final inspection on another that same afternoon, the volume they handle with consistent excellence speaks to exceptional initiative, prioritization, and follow-through. They are a direct contributor to how LEMOINE has stood apart from others in the Restore Louisiana program. She plays a key role in creating memorable employee engagement events, ensuring that every employee feels valued, included, and appreciated. Her work directly strengthens LEMOINE’s culture of connection. She approaches each event with enthusiasm, thoughtful planning, and a genuine desire to bring people together. By fostering a fun and uplifting environment where employees feel both recognized and engaged, she demonstrates excellence in relationship-building and works smartly to support and enhance our company culture.

While this individual has only been with the company for a little over a year, in that short time she has found countless ways to add significant value. She has absorbed information on topics she had little to no exposure to prior to joining LEMOINE, and she was never afraid to run at 900 mph alongside me during busy weeks. She approaches everything with a great attitude and a smile. I could nominate her for a number of core values, but the biggest impact, in my opinion, has been her ability to quickly form meaningful relationships. She has also jumped in on the engagement committee and is helping lead important events that are strengthening our culture. I tell my family often how much I look forward to coming to work each day, and she plays a big part in that. She shows up every day ready to tackle all of my crazy projects, and I look forward to continuing to watch her grow in this role and with our amazing company.
