The Lemoine Company is exceptionally proud to announce the completion of the Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport Hospital’s Pediatric and Labor & Delivery department renovations. These critical renovations enabled the Ochsner LSU Shreveport staff to provide a safe and welcoming space for these patients while opening up much needed additional space for patients battling COVID-19.

The work was completed in just 3 weeks, with Lemoine teams working 24-7 to complete a scope of work that would have taken more than 6 months under normal circumstances to design and build. Work included the conversion of patient rooms into isolation rooms (9-negative air and 7-positive air rooms); replacement of over 13,000 LF of med-gas piping; mechanical infrastructure upgrades; lab renovations; installation of a new nurse call and paging system; renovation of the C-Section Suite; and the creation of a pharmacy, warming kitchen, and admitting space.

Lemoine is grateful to have partnered with LSU, Ochsner Health, Stirling Properties, WHLC Architecture, and all of our Trade Partners to accomplish this amazing feat. The entire team’s dedication and commitment to the medical staff, employees, and patients at Ochsner Shreveport shows in the results. We are so very proud of the work you’ve done.

April Wellness Champion – Tim Burdette

We’d like to recognize our Lemoine Wellness Champion of the Month for April – Tim Burdette!

For those of you who don’t know, Tim started in October of 2004 as an Office Engineer on the Opelousas General Expansion Project. Now he serves as an Operations Manager for the Healthcare Group.

To stay healthy, Tim strives to perform some physical activity daily, in addition to watching his diet. He emphasizes it can be as simple as daily stretching, bike riding, or jogging. He also has a goal to complete at least 100 push-ups daily.

When asking Tim what motivates him to stay active and healthy, he says “My family, especially my wife! They motivate me to be more active and healthy”.

Tim began his journey last October when he made the decision to take his health more seriously leading up to his family vacation. “Once I started to see results and feel better, I became more motivated and ultimately lost 35 pounds!”

Tim’s advice about living a healthy lifestyle is to stick with it and not get frustrated.

Awesome job, Tim! We are so proud of you! Keep striving to be a healthier version of yourself every day!
